The ORBETH Mission

To reduce the levels of poverty, starvation and illiteracy worldwide.

History

ORBETH was originally founded in Norway as the Makani Foundation in 1999, began its activities in partnership with Spider-web Help, a humanitarian organisation in Sweden. The organisation provided free meals to school children to encourage parents to keep their children in school and to provide the nourishment growing children need.

In conjunction with Spider-web Help we provided computers and finances to buy computers to equip the girl's schools with science and technology classes.

Now situated in Chicago, Il. ORBETH endeavors to continue its modest but effective activities to alleviate poverty in the richest country on earth.
